About The Aberdare Ranges
The Aberdare ranges, spanning Nyeri and Nyandarua counties, present a captivating vista of misty valleys, hills, and mountains, offering a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. DAY 1
Nairobi to Aberdare National Park
Arrival: Upon arrival at the airport, our dedicated team will be there to welcome you. We can also arrange accommodation before the tour starts for an additional cost if needed.
Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or the airport at 7:30 a.m. We’ll depart Nairobi and journey through the scenic white highlands, renowned for their coffee, banana, tea, and pineapple plantations. Arriving at the base hotel in time for lunch, you’ll then be transferred to the iconic Tree Lodge, where Queen Elizabeth once spent a night. From the lodge’s terrace, you’ll have the opportunity to view wildlife in its natural habitat. Dinner and overnight stay will be at The Ark Lodge within Aberdare National Park.

DAY 2
Aberdares to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary
After breakfast, you’ll return to the base hotel to meet your driver-guide, who will then take you to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary. En route, enjoy a game drive, soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Upon arrival, indulge in a delicious lunch before embarking on another exciting game drive with a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. This sanctuary is home to a plethora of wildlife and bird species, offering unforgettable sightings of elephants, rhinos, lions, and more. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.

Sweetwater’s to Nairobi
