Visa Requirements:
- Completed and signed visa application form: The visa application form must be completed and signed. You will need the application form to book your appointment.
- Passport: A passport valid for travel to Germany with a validity date at least three months beyond your intended period of stay in Germany.
- One (1) recent passport-sized photograph: Meeting specific requirements as per the German visa guidelines.
- Visa Fee Payment: The visa fee must be paid before your visa interview. The payment methods and locations vary.
- Proof of Funds: Evidence that shows you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses while in Germany.
- Evidence of Ties: Documents that demonstrate you have strong ties to Kenya, such as a job, family, or property, to ensure you will return after your trip.
- Previous Schengen Visas: If you have previously been to Germany or any Schengen country, any documents related to your previous visits.
- Supporting Documents: Additional documents may be required based on the type of visa you are applying for, such as:
- Tourist/Business Visa: Letter of invitation, itinerary, and other evidence of the purpose of your trip.
- Student Visa: Admission letter from a German institution, proof of financial support, academic transcripts.
- Work Visa: Employment contract, proof of qualifications, and other supporting documents.
- Interview Appointment Confirmation: Printout of your interview appointment confirmation.
Additional Information:
All documents must be submitted in original plus one set of copies.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
The Embassy of Germany may request additional documentation.
